Day 1 

Arrive Berlin, and Experience the City’s Vibe

Upon arrival in Berlin, you will be met for the transfer to your centrally located hotel. Free time this afternoon to explore your new neighborhood and visit Brandenburg Gate or shop for souvenirs. Restaurant suggestions will be provided throughout

Day 2

Explore Berlin’s Iconic Landscape

Daily breakfasts in each of your hotels. Enjoy a detailed private sightseeing through the city, visit the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie and the East Side gallery. Free time in the afternoon will give you a chance to stroll through the popular Kurfürstendamm or trendy Alexanderplatz

Day 3

Venture to Munich 

Morning at your leisure to explore Berlin on your own. Private transfer this afternoon to the train station for your train to Munich. Arrive in Munich, where you will be met for the transfer to your centrally located hotel

Day 4

Walk through the Heritage of Munich

Detailed private sightseeing of the Marienplatz, the giant Glockenspiel clock, Englischer Garten, Nymphenburg Palace, the cathedral, and more. Free time in the afternoon for a visit to the Deutsches Museum

Day 5

Relive Munich’s History during World War II at Dachau

 

Take an excursion to Dachau memorial today for a thought-provoking visit to the first Nazi concentration camp established in 1933 and finally liberated in 1945. The afternoon is at your leisure back in Munich

Day 6

Journey through the Stunning Scenery of the Bavarian Alps

Free time in the morning to explore or visit museums you may have missed before. Then, with your private driver (or a rental car), proceed to Berchtesgaden to check-in at your in-town hotel

Day 7

Traverse the Beauty of Berchtesgaden

Detailed private sightseeing through Berchtesgaden today, stopping by the historic Eagle’s Nest, a famous mountain retreat of Adolf Hitler, and visiting the underground world of Obersalzberg’s salt mines. Free time to perhaps enjoy a boat ride through the Bavarian Alps on Königsee lake to St. Bartholomew’s shrine

Day 8

Venture across the Austrian Border to Salzburg

Day 9

Enjoy a Royal Palace Adventure in Fussen

Journey to the west today to visit the iconic  Neuschwanstein Castle today, which was the inspiration for Disneyland's castle, followed by the beautiful XIV-c palace of Hohenschwangau, the castle where King Ludwig II spent his childhood. Consider a quick detour to Garmisch-Partenkirchen or Oberammergau if you’re interested in visiting other charming towns along the Bavarian Alps

Day 10

Drive through the Romantic Road

Say goodbye to the fairytale land before heading on the Romantic Road to the Crown Jewel of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Reach your centrally located hotel in Rothenburg

Day 11

Wander through Germany’s Finest Medieval Town Before Heading to Cologne

Free time in the morning to linger Rothenburg's medieval Old Town and extensive walls. Continue to Cologne, where you will be met for the transfer to your centrally located hotel

Day 12

Take a Romantic Cruise along the River Rhine

Enjoy a delightful excursion along the scenic Rhine river and its castles, with potential visits to Lorelei, St. Goar, Koblenz, Marksburg and Remagen Bridge

Day 13

Uncover the Secrets of Cologne

Detailed private sightseeing of the Cathedral, Gross St. Martin, Köln Triangle and more. Afternoon at your leisure to shop or people-watch in the Domplatz

Day 14

Return Home

Transfer by rail or by car to FRA now for your home-bound flights. Same-day arrival in the USA. Welcome home!

When should I go?

The ideal time is year round - summers are beautiful. Oktoberfest in Munich usually takes place in September and end on the first week of October. Berchtesgaden and Salzburg plus Cologne offer vibrant Christmas markets in December. Please keep in mind that the Eagle’s Nest is closed during the wintertime from November to April due to snow
